Have you noticed that your Twitter app sometime shows previews of links in tweets? Just below the tweet, there is a photo or even an excerpt of a blog with a thumbnail. Many of the professional blogs have this, such as @lifehacker, @mashable and such, but now you can too!

All you need is three basic ingredients:

1. WordPress to run your blog
2. A plugin called Yoast (by @yoast) that does SEO for your site, but also implements Twitter Cards and other magic
3. Some technical knowledge (or a healthy dose of endurance) to be able to install both 1. and 2. and apply at Twitter. Read more about this at Yoast.com and apply your own site.

Just yesterday I received the confirmation from Twitter that my site has been approved. So this post is actually my maiden attempt to test if Twitter Cards works on my blog.
